| Jimmy and Lena McMillan visited Fairbanks on numerous occasions in the 1970s and '80s at the invitation of the Fairbanks Red Hackle Pipe Band. Here he is shown teaching pipers on the practice chanter during a visit in February 1981. Mr. McMillan's masterful instruction, his mentoring, and his interest in raising the standard of piping in Alaska will be long remembered. |
